The Poly-Theming Solution is a versatile toolbox for forming and validating topologically correct polygons from line and centroid data contained in an IGDS file.

This Solution package creates colour theme maps using interactive queries (SQL) on polygon attributes contained in a database. It includes the following modules:

POLYGON 3D
POLYGON 3D uses vector line work and associated centroids to form polygons as closed shapes. It validates polygon topology, flags errors and computes polygon areas. Attribute data in a database may be linked to the polygons during the creation process. Colour theming can be automated with the use of REPORTS 3D.

QUERY 3D
QUERY 3D allows the user to assign colour fills, hatching or cell-fit patterning to polygon shapes based on queries (SQL) on polygon attributes contained in a database. Individual and sets of queries (themes) can be saved on a project basis and used for processing subsequent maps.

POLYGON 3D can be executed from within a MAPS 3D script, for batch processing of multiple files.
