The Map Label Solution creates map labels in an IGDS file based on queries (SQL) from an attribute database.

LABEL 3D
Custom labels are generated from feature attributes stored in a database. These labels are automatically placed in the IGDS file at locations determined by a unique feature identifier (annotation point). Label design is fully flexible using standard MicroStation cells. It includes tools for repositioning labels for cartographic purposes. Multiple database formats are supported using ODBC.

LABEL 3D can be executed from within a MAPS 3D script for batch processing of multiple files.

For the additional utility to accompany the Map Label Solution, we suggest: CENTROID 3D or REPORTS 3D.
