The Cartographic Solution provides enhanced capability for digital cartography. Facilitates the creation, management and Global Update of a project-wide standard map representation style. Provides a cartographic framework of neatlines, map projection and Geographical grids and labels for hardcopy map production.

MAP SURROUND 3D
MAP SURROUND 3D creates map sheet surround data including map projection and Geographic grid ticks with annotation and metadata text positioning. It supports Geographic Coordinates (LAT/LONG) and several common map projections.

PATTERN 3D
PATTERN 3D enables the user to modify the line symbology associated with a map feature. Map area features may also be hatched or patterned. This module is used for the creation of representational files for subsequent output in hard copy.

Both MAP SURROUND 3D and PATTERN 3D can be executed from within a MAPS 3D script, for batch processing of multiple files.
