| PowerScope
is an exceptional and inexpensive IGDS redline application developed by Bentley Systems on
the MicroStation95 platform.
Under contract to the Timberland and Properties Division of Macmillan Bloedel, Sierra customized PowerScope with an extensive set of tools designed to streamline a process for the creation of legal property transaction documents using a thematic atlas base reference map. MicroStation Basic was the primary development tool used to program automated multiple function routines such as clipping area of interest and plotting at a predetermined scale. In close consultation with Macmillan Bloedel, Sierra succeeded in creating a customized, intuitive desktop redline tool which requires very little training and no previous CAD experience to operate.
